A new year-as I begin again
We live on a small farm, with 55 acres, fields and woods. One of the most important parts of finding my end of the rainbow, is actually making the time to enjoy this farm again like we once did. So, for my first day of spring, I made sure to take some time to walk in the woods. The weather was perfect, some sunshine and only a light jacket. The first place for me to see signs of spring-the small ponds that hubby made for us last year. YES! What a thrill to see frog eggs in all three ponds! Can't wait until I can also hear them singing at night. I saw four deer in the woods, and it looks like we need to spend some time this weekend, doing a little clean up at the cabin. A bit of neglect over the past couple months somehow gave a few rodents the idea they could move in. If we are lucky, we might even get to spend the weekend up there, after some clean up. Waking up to coffee on the front steps, watching out over the fields...just what I need to get some motivation!
